Associate Professor Dr. Shahnaz Pervin Participated at the workshop on ‘Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)’, organized by Technology Transfer Office (TTO), BUET under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of University Grants Commission (UGC), Council Bhaban, BUET, Dhaka on 7-8 November 2017.

Assistant Professor Dr.Mizanur Rahman’s paper titled“Technology in ELT: Critical Perspectives” was accepted (could not present due to illness) for presentation in BELTA National Conference, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh held on October 20, 2017.

LecturerMs. MosammatFarihaattended “Foundation Training for Newly Appointed Faculty Members” organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), BUET held from 8 to 9 July, 2017.

Professor Dr. Asma Begum performed Umrah Hajj from 19 June to 2 July,2017.

MLSS Md. Mofizur Rahman went on retirement on 30 June, 2017.

Assistant Professor Ms. KhanamNargis Sultana performed Umrah Hajj in June, 2017.

Associate Professor Dr. Shahnaz Pervinpublished a co-authored paper titled “ Role of NGO Affairs Bureau in Regulating Foreign-funded Voluntary Organizations in Bangladesh: An Overview” in Jahangirnagar Journal of Administrative Studies (ISSN 2311-3812) in  June, 2017.

Assistant Professor Mr. Mizanur Rahman received his Ph.D degree in English Language (Discourse Analysis) from National University of Malaysia on 17 May, 2017.

Assistant ProfessorMr. Mizanur Rahman published a co-authored paper titled “Rhetorical structure and linguistic features of research articles in applied linguistics” in International journal of Educational Studies. (ISSN 1979-7877) on February, 2017.
